X Factor - is it all about the judges?

I do watch the show (no choice in the matter lol) an find I it remotely entertaining.
But it seems to have become less and less about individuals' talent and more about the judges. I cant think of any other show where there is more publicity surrounding the panel of judges as there is surrounding the contestants.. Also, it sometimes appears as though the judges care more about getting one over on their fellow judges by keeping their acts in rather than being happy that the act has got the public vote.

Is it just me...?

It's not all about the judges or the contestants, it's all about the money ... and the potential to make money.

Completely agree jd, its all about the judges and that Cowell guy gets on my nerves with all the dramatic verbal crap he comes out with.
Its all about him and money IMO.
