Arundel, West Sussex

I asked this the other day a little prematurely. What is the weather and roads like around there? Need to travel there tomorrow from Oxford.

It's bright sunshine today and there is several inches of snow on the fields and woods so it's pretty but the main roads are all clear, traffic is moving freely and the trains are starting to run again.

Just beware of after hours travel as the temperature plummeted last night and all surfaces get icy.

Thanks for the answers. Will be leaving around lunch time for a wedding reception so hopefully we will get there in plenty of time.

lanes and side roads are still iced up but passable with care.

if you are sticking to main roads you will be fine.

Thanks Zeuhl! I have never been there before so I'm not really sure what kind of roads we need to use but I will make sure I drive very carefully. Would quite like to enjoy the evening. :o)

Arundel is beautiful, unique town.

Castle, church and lots of old buildings make up busy little place all clustered around a small area of high ground right next to the River Arun.

Just wanted to let you know you were right about Arundel Zeuhl. We had a lovely walk around there yesterday morning to clear our hangovers. I never knew that part of the world was so lovely.
