kids and xmas

My partner gets his daughter every sat and has done for the last two years this is stated in lawyers letters. Xmas day is a sat this year and his ex is saying she consulter a solisitor and its seen as special occassion so he will nt be gettin her. She never allows him to see her on her birthday or xmas and we were excited about having her this year. Can she really do this?

throw an early christmas the week before, a child wont mind what day it falls on :)

we have other kids tho. we do try to make boxing day more special but its not the same

is it really worth going back to court to try and sort it though?
Cant the parents try and reach a compromise with each other? someone will be disappointed though but at least there wont be any bickering likely to upset the child

I quite happily let my ex have the kids every Christmas. I'm not a Christmas person whereas he is so I knew they'd have a better time with him.
