I'm from Toronto, but I am studying in Glasgow. Anyway I want to visit London in March and I think I've found a good bargain, but I'm kind of thinking it's a bit too good too be true. It's says that I can get 50% off the accommodation, but I've never been to London and I'm kind of freaking out. Should I get it and take the risk, or is it really on the "up and up".

Thank you so much for your help

It will be 50% off a price few will have paid in the first place.

It may still be a good price for that hotel though compare with other offers available.

Even at half price it will be very expensive.
call the hilton and ask them on 0207-603-3355

''Up to'' 50% is the key phrase ... I'd email the Hilton and see what the 'real' % is likely to be.

Okay, I spoke to them and they said the deal is accurate :) Thanks everyone!
It is a bet - in a soft market (bad economy plus political incidents etc), it can be seriously worth calling the hotels close in and see what deal they could lay on for you. I have had some super deals that undercut the tripasdvisers and their like.....but then you may wish to lock in now, especially if it is a good deal and it is a special anniversary. If you do book now, do send them an e-mail closer in to say that you are coming and you can always request them for a room upgrade etc (if you do not ask you do not get) and giveing them a hint of what/when you are celebrating is useful....
