Hi everyone
We're buying my mother a small Freeview TV for her bedroom for Christmas. My parents don't have a digitial aerial on the roof, they have Sky on the TV in their lounge. They can't afford to pay for Sky Multiroom, besides which my Mum will only watch the odd programme from time to time so it wouldn't be worth the money.

Will they need to sort out a digital aerial to go on the roof to enable her new TV to work, or is there an indoor digital aerial that will do the job?

Many thanks, Merry Christmas to you all.

You can try a good indoor aerial if you live near to a transmitter thats sending out digital tv.You will have to buy some sort of indoor aerial anyhow,so you can but try.
There is no such thing as a digital aerial.

All aerials can pick up both analouge and digital.

If there is already an aerial on the roof then that may suffice.
More or less the answer I gave in one of the other TWO posts on the same subject VHG.
If you want some help, I can run your location and give you TV transmitter/locality info, and what antenna you would need. I need a postcode.
Cheers...

Hi Al, the area postcode is BS37, is that what you need? These things are never simple are they. Thanks very much for taking the time to try and help, you're a star.
Sorry .. didn't see ..
But where's the rest of the postcode? There are 11 possible transmitters for BS37 .. as the area is so large!
