home made food as christmas gifts

hi, i am at home at till christmas so have time on my hands. I hate christmas shopping, plus i'm reasonably poor this year, so i am thinking of making people food gifts for christmas this year, I can do brownies reasonably well. Anyone have any other ideas? Perhaps things that will last for a bit as there is always loads of food around at xmas

Well my friend, food is something which will vanish after sometime, instead you should give such type of gifts that will last longer or forever. You can make cards and give to your friends.

well thanks for your advice "my friend" but i would like to make food gifts for people. I am under no illusion that something i can get for a fiver will not last forever!
