I was always taught,"You get nothing for nothing in this Life" and it's a policy I have always adhered to, there are some people who have never worked in their entire lives and there are some and I stress the word 'some' students , who think by going to University for a 'of little use degree' like Sports or Sociology will hold them in good stead for the future, Heaven help them, but I, like a lot of you reading this thread, am pleased I contributed to society by working and paying my way and not being of the take, take, take breed

I can't believe there is a Degree in Hairdressing. Hairdressing is a skill and no amount of studying will help you do it better. You may understand some of the underlying principles, but it is the "cut" that matters at the end of the day, and you either have that skill or you don't. I'd rather know that they had trained at Vidal's than gone to Oxbridge.
