Something lives in my stomach

Anyone got any thoughts on the following.
On the odd occassion I will get a 'twanging' sensation in the abdoman. I can only describe it as someone grabbing your skin tightly in their hand and squeezing. But even more strange is what happens next. When I go to put my hand on my abdoman (to help the pain obviousley) I can feel something almost 'moving' underneath. The nearest sensation I can describe it as is a trapped nerve sensation. Like its fluttering. But its quite a significant size in terms off the area it covers. Its not for example the size of an eyelid trapped nerve its about a fist size area fluttering. Its positioned just underneath where the ribs cage meets in the middle just on the soft part of your abdoman. It goes away after 15 minutes. Could it be a large trapped nerve? Or something living in my stomach?

Sounds like some form of muscle spasm to me and there could be all sorts of reasons for this (most of them none too serious) but please, please, please, consult a doctor. My father had a fairly similar problem and it turned out to be associated with his heart. (I'm not trying to alarm you; your problem is probably nothing at all serious but PLEASE get it checked out, just in case).

Octavius - I guess it must be my knickers.
Buenchico - I am now on anti-depression pills after your little story...thanks a bunch!
Only joking...I appreciate all your replies. I am not overly worried at all really I figured it was probably a nerve or muscle issue, I just thought I would see if anyone might of had any other ideas. - And dont worry - If it gets worse...I will blame you lot when I go to the doctors ---- "yes doc...octavius assured me that it was because my knickers were too tight" Hmmm...Ha Ha...Thanks all !
