Land from Cape Town, come home. Sleep for 3 hours. Get up, feel like sh1t. Force myself out for christmas dinner.

We're at home, the two of us and the catz - probably go round to friends for a seasonal drink during the early evening.

just a quiet family day for me ladybird have my brothers,mum and sister round with her kids,my sons and my first born grand-daughter are coming as well...maybe not so quiet after all lol x

I shall be spending Christmas Day on my own (as I usally do)when you are 61 and a single female people forget you exist at Christmas,and I am too damm proud to suggest myself!
Don't feel sorry for me,I would rather spend Christmas alone than in an air of enforced & false jollity!

Home with OH and kids. Probably go to his Mums in the evening.

At home with the kids and the ex-husband.. possibly a Bruce Willis DVD.. game of Uno and a bottle of plonk.. then working Boxing day and Monday.. Deep unconfined joy..!!

Invictas, I was on my own for a while and I too quite enjoy my own company - I didn't mind.

Il be doing the dinner here at home for me and husband and son and his girlfriend , daughter and son in law will pop round in the morning of xmas day for an hour or so , i wanted them here for dinner but the mother in law is going to theirs for the day , maybe next year i hope x

home with the bf, 2 indoor rabbits with fluffy bob tails, 3 fat guinea pigs and two hyperactive gerbils, shutting the door bolting it, double bolting it and not leaving for as long as physically possible. Watching Christmas dvds, playing board games, puzzles, and PS3.

Spend the day with dysfunctional family (apart from the dog) being joint ref with OH.
B.D entertain own ditto ditto ( including the dog).
Following day give thanks 'cos its 363 days till next round.

Christmas day, going to my son's and daughter in law's. Her mother, who is very nice, and my (and her) two grandsons, one 23, one 20. Grace (the daughter-in-laws mother) who is older than me but still driving, will pick me up and take us there. Hope it doesn't snow as it is quite a long drive (about 20 miles). Boxing Day, to my daughter and son-in-laws, for another great day with them and my youngest grandson, aged 15 and 6ft 3ins in his stockinged feet,. Picked up by my son-in-law but a shorter drive this time, about 10 miles. Looking forward to both days.

Hubby working christmas day, so will just be me and my daughter, we have decided on spaghetti bolognese for dinner, and chocolates,crisps or junk for the rest of the day, anyone at a loose end welcome to join us :-) lol. Boxing day will then become christmas day :-)
