While running into a lampost is funny I hardly think two guys trying to firebomb a pub while people are sleeping inside is anything to laugh about.

This is exactly why I hate the mass immigration into this country.

I am 60 years old and tried to live an honest life as best I can.

Then these two pieces of scum get here, and think it is OK to firebomb buildings.

B*stards.
Because CIA would not give clearance to someone of so limited abilities.

of course it's not funny VHG but I just laugh at the the whole "carry on bombing" nature of the attempt!
Do you think this was a racially motivated attack? There was no mention of this when he was convicted, but makes you wonder why a couple of Asian men would commit this crime.
As R1Geezer says, it is funny, a type of 'Carry On' fiasco, but of course, the act, and why, is deadly serious.

I don't think it was racially motivated, but I wouldn't mind putting on a bet it was an attack on Christians, purely a religious thing.
These terrorists committing these acts are committing Treason. The death penalty for this was abolished in 1998.

""The penalty for treason was changed from death to a maximum of imprisonment for life in 1998 under the Crime And Disorder Act.""

Why don't they get life then?
/// but makes you wonder why a couple of Asian men would commit this crime.///

Because they are not all 'squeaky clean', as you always like to make them out to be Gromit.
