The Songs that just keep going round your head thread......

Having just read Murray's question on the Windmill in Amsterdam, I am now wondering round the house singing "I saw a mouse there, there on the stair, there on the stair right there, a little mouse with clogs on blah blah blah blah".

What songs get into your head and then you just can't get them out again?

The last couple of days it has been the superman or the starwars theme tune... Largely because we've been watching the star wars family guy... Anyway, what's really done my head in is if you one of those theme tunes stuck in your head then you can't remember the other and have to youtube the one you can't remember as it hurts your brain tyring to think of it! It's bizarre... Try it... Those two theme tunes are scarily similar (well the bits that everyone knows anyway).

Enough about my 'issues' though... ;0)

I drove myself mad yesterday, every time I had an idle moment I'd suddenly start singing the same refrain from the same song. Mrs jth couldn't help me work out what had prompted it and in the end took to shouting at me each time it happened. :o(

This morning, however, I have completely forgotten which song it was and don't wish to ponder too hard on the matter in case it returns.

Barmaid - I have been told, though I have no idea if its actualy true or not, that if you hum Karma Chameleon, it will get rid of any song that sticks in the mind and leaves no residual, Culture Club.
