Can anyone explain the reference to West Ham in the following 'Succeeded for West Ham maybe having Barnet under pressure.(8) I'm sure the answer is stressed I can see the Barnet - tress(ed) but am puzzled by the rest if s is succeeded where does West Ham fit in? Thank you

I think it is just to suggest London where 'Barnet' is rhyming slang for 'hair' (Barnet Fair) which leads to 'tressed'
in West Ham they would refer to hair as a Barnet. (Barnet Fair - rhyming slang)
s(ucceeded) + tressed (having hair)

Oh,less complicated than I thought. I didn't really think the clue needed Barnet meaning hair pointing out in that way but thank you for your trouble
