Chocs or biscuits to postie because he is so nice about my dogs (the previous one used to leave chews in the mailbox for them at christmas)
We don't have a paper boy but I did tip when we did and no milk delivery either.

I prefer to give 'presents' rather than tips. I don't believe in tipping. Our postie lady is lovely and very caring. She is a treasure and I shall give her a 'gift' of money. Same with my hairdresser. I have no reason to give binmen a tip, but they can't accept anyway as they are contracted to the council.
