just come back from a day in Edinburgh's Princes Street. Where have the brains gone ? Totally crazy, folk throwing money every where.. Edinburgh full of folk on hols with streetmaps looking lost and taken advantage of at every turn....do not come to Edinburgh unless you are local, hane good friends here or have pots of loot !!!

you must come at any othet time when brains are not in another place... I even spoke to Santa in Debenhams and checked he had got my letter.....he had ... a great city believe me not today...

i went to edinburgh once it was about 30 years ago i remember going up to the castle and seeing the little dogs graveyard in the castle,shopping in princes street and then hearing the cannon..is it mons meg or something like that?...a truly great day and one i can still remember...its a pity i havent had the good fortune to return...

hoping to go in at the weekend if we're not snowed in and take the kids to see the lights and santa feeding the reindeer - does he still have them at the west end of Prives Street Gardens did you notice murraymints?

Honest a really great place to come ... I am jaded as have lived here so long but even so.. appreciate that view every time and turn inti Princes Street and look at that vista...BEYOND COMPARE !!! . I cam home fro California because I missed it.

I agree murray - Edinburgh born and bred but now in Stirling - as beautiful as Stirling is, nothing compares to my gorgeous hometown!
