sending digital photos
I think I 've already asked this before.
How do you resize digital photos to come out as a small size instead of A4 when sending them by e-mail. My photos are 2304x1728 pixels and come out asA4 size when e-mailed. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance Genny

Professional packages such as Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro are by far the best for image editing, but are probably a bit over the top if you're only trying to resize images. You can do this simple job with Windows Paint.
Open paint, Start>All programmes>Accessories>Paint
Open the image file.
On the Image menu, click Attributes.
Under Units, click the unit of measurement you want to use for the width and height. (use pixels)
Type the measurements in Width and Height.
800x600 is usually good enough to send out, as it's reasonably large, without being so large that people having to scroll to view it.
Remember to keep the file size down by saving the image as either a jpg or a png. A jpg will use a "lossy compression", which takes away some of the pixels, a png uses "non-lossy" compression, reducing the file size by reducing the number or colours used within the image pallette.
