Father Chistmas

Went to playgroup today and Father Christmas came to see the kids. My two year old twins both freaked out and I picked them up. I was sitting on top of a cupboard with my feet on a chair and both children were clinging to me, one on one knee and one standing on the chair. Father Christmas (bless him) did his best to try and calm them down and tried to kindly stoke my son's leg (not in a yucky way) - but he was stroking my leg (didn't feel I could say anything as he was trying to be nice) but he was stood there for flipping ages!

A couple of days in the house (Asda is bringing the food tomorrow - fingers crossed) and they will be all sorted for next weekend. Hope you and yours are all ok. x
Hi Jan - took the kids to see him once in my childhood home town (we don't live there anymore) and he was really creepy. He kept saying to me 'I know you, don't I?', didn't know if it was part of the 'act' or if he was some old bloke I was supposed to know. And you have to keep calm and not scare the kids in front of him, all a bit weird really. Very strange that we let some stranger in a costume get all 'friendly' with our children at this time of year.
I wonder if THIS is the Father Christmas that was stroking sherrardk's leg? LOL
