thanks cruciverbali - i found it very tough [especially as i was clinging to an alternative drug for C - didn't occur to me that there could be another one]. first time i've seen this xword - might there be other presents like this?

Hi Bellabee its a great crossword have won it 3 times over the few years I first saw it
on this answer bank site Shaneystar put it forward not seen her much now on the site hope all is well with her. have got most of answers now to fit in grid good luck

Thanks both - it is a great puzzle and well worth entering if the prize takes your fancy bellabee. I agree that C isn't the first thing we reach for in this country for asthma.
