I wondered how everything went, she hasn't posted again and a few people seem to have asked on her thread- mind you if it is true i daresay she has more important things on her mind than keeping us all up to date- but something felt a little flippant in some of her remarks about the whole thing to me.

It could be true. The old lady who used to live opposite (I am the old lady who lives opposite now) was 72 and her daughter was 20. She told me that she had thought she had a growth probably cancer so that when she found out it was actually a baby she was quite grateful. They didn't make a fuss about it in those days just took whatever came along.

Nature is very odd isn't it. On the one hand you have people desperately trying for a baby and on the other you have this poor lady becoming pregnant at 50. I would have been devastated at 40, so I can quite understand her.
