The difference is that the first story is portrayed as a victory for justice by someone nicked by Officers who should have known the extent of their powers instead of just backing up an over zealous PCSO.
Whereas the second one is portrayed as a victory for justice against the rantings and ravings of some lefty Lady of a self styled student mouthpiece.
When in fact they're both the same - ie idiots shouting stupid things in public.
