when you have plumbers/builders/electricians around working in your house, do you sit and watch them just to keep an eye or do you carry on with whatever you were doing. (within reason, lol) we have plumbers around now and i don't know what to do. :-/ I am the only one in the house with them plus both dogs but they are locked in the living room.

oh and workmen also have to contend with one very nosy dog, who when i was having my central heating put in, had to put up with a jack russell with her snout in their work bags. It was highly embarrassing and i did try to confine her to specific rooms, but as they were working in ALL the rooms....she escaped often.

Surely if you have a good relationship with them, they are more likely to get on with you and therefore do the job well meaning there would be no need to shout at them.

LMAO....the plumber just left here about 35 minutes ago.
I chatted a wee bit-asked a few questions.....when he gave me the damage-and I did not have quite enough cash....he said- "ok-for cash we are even"
I call that a good working relationship....lol

I used to hate people standing and watching over me when I've had jobs that required working in other peoples houses!

It was a pipe under the sink that was a gonner....had been leaking for a while,as it was quite wet under the vinyl flooring...and the hall carpet is soaked.....
