When EE Nesbit,(author of The Railway Children and Five Children and It) married Hubert Bland in 1880,he was already having an affair(continued after his marriage) with Alice Hoatson.
He had two children with Alice,and three with Edith.
When Alice died young Edith took them into the marital home and raised them with her children.
Even though I have no children,I don't think I could do that.

Yes of course you could, well I could and I know my Ex could, it's not the child's fault and besides too much store is placed on people's infidelity- there are more important things that that when kids are involved.
