does any know if we can get a mortgage has seasonal workers, we only work 7 months of the year and have done for the past 7yrs. we do not allready own any property but have a good deposit.

Try talking to brokers who deal with the self-employed since that, in essence, is what you are in terms of employment status.
Most lenders will look at the average income over the past 3 years and will take into account the fact that you have a good deposit. As long as your bank statements show that you budget over the 12 month period there should not be a problem. Try the high street banks first, as it will probably cost you less in arrangement fees
A good mortgage broker might be your best best. I'm not sure that I'd necessary trust going to the banks direct. A broker will probably have wider experience of which institutions offer the best deals for certain kinds of workers. A bank will only offer its own products which may not necessarily be the best deal available.
