Electrical stores in New York

I want to buy an XBox and Kinect for a friend living in NY.
Does anyone know the equivalent over there of Comet, Dixons, Argos, Currys etc over here?
If I can find a similar local shop they might still be able to deliver in time for Christmas!

There`s a big electrical store called Best Buy in NY. They have quite good prices too

when I went to NY the similar store was Radio Shack but it was quite a long time ago so don't know if they still exist

23753 is correct. Best Buy is probably the largest electrical retailer in the US (they have at least one store in the UK now as well). You should be able to buy stuff on their web site for delivery there.
