How many others on here are waiting for and worrying about, loved ones travelling long distances to be with us at Christmas??
Our daughter is travelling from Brighton to North Lancs , as I type, in an old Ford KA and is expecting to arrive in the early hours. Not going to sleep until she arrives.
"God speed" love, safe journey.

We were hoping our daughter and granddaughter could travel from Buckingham up to Yorkshire to collect their presents, but it looked like they wouldn't be able to make it. The weather has been so bad where they are. Today she phoned to say they would arrive tomorrow lunch time but it will be a much shorter visit now. I'm worried about them making the journey, but really hoping to see them before Christmas.
HI DT - sorry to hear that you will not be seeing your girls at Christmas. I would like to think that if me and my husband ever split up that we could be 'grown up' about access but I secretly fear that I would try to scratch his eyes out if he took the children off anywhere for more than an hour or two. x
