Did a bit of last minute shopping last night in town. Met the boyfriend and we went and had some dinner when I remembered I needed some birthday cards. We went to Clinton Cards on the way back to the car park at about 7pm. All the shops were due to stay open until 8. When we got to Clintons, they had just closed the door and put a sign on the window saying because of the severe weather conditions they were closing early. This I could normaly accept, however in High Wycombe last night there were no severe weather conditions, the roads were as clear as they have been for a week and nothing was forecast until possibly tonight (a day later). None of the other shops around had closed early. It did occur to me that the four staff members I could see standing inside the shop appeared to be of a different faith that wouldn't celebrate Christmas. Now, is this just my biggoted mind coming in to play or am I on to something.

As one in every 4 years has 366 days (ignoring odd exceptions such as 1900) and the other 3 in 4 have 365, the average is 365¼. So on average the chance of being born on Christmas Day is 1 in 365¼ isn't it?
Anyway, we've clearly all got too much time on our hands.
