There ain't no pleasing some folk, is there?First of all, our immigration authorities fail miserably when things like this happen, i.e. illegal immigrants smuggled into the country. Then, once the authorities DO do something about it, eventually, we have an outcry and petitions raised to try to stop the illegal immigrant being returned to their country. This time it's that old chestnut about how his life would be in danger if repatriated. Says who? The gullible brigade will swallow anything, won't they? He lived there for 14 years without a problem. What's changed?
The vast majority in this country are up in arms out illegal immigration, yet when something positive is announced about one such individual we cave in and decide not to bother after all, for mark my words, this public outcry will once more dissuade the powers that be from doing the duty they're tasked with doing.
