The wrong music at the wrong time

Was watching How Clean is your house? whilst trying to keep my dinener down at the same time (choose a different programme to eat with your tea), and when they started the cleaning montage they played Helicopter by Bloc Party in the background. It just struck me as out of keeping with the show, and I was wondering if there had been any other cases of a TV programme choosing odd music for its soundtrack.

Hi supernick, this is strange because i was going to post a similar question two days ago! Ever watched CSI- crime scene investigation? Well if not i suggest you do because the opening music is ridiculous and does not suit what the show is about. Anyone agree with me?

I think the reason they use The Who music in CSI is because it is saying 'who are you/we' which is what they are trying to find out with the DNA and stuff they find.

i always thought it was a perfect choice of song...

but all the csi programmes music is by the who
