Cancelling voicemail

I have a new Samsung E720 mobile phone, but cannot find in the menu how to switch off my voicemail, my server is O2, (because of personal reasons), anyone know how please. Thanks in anticipation.

You won't find a menu setting to switch off your voicemail because your voicemail is controlled by O2's computer and not by your phone!

Dial 1760 to turn your voicemail off.
Dial 1750 to turn it back on again.
