I went to work at 8am and just got in and only 3 threads it woulod seem, I wonder if most people are in quizzes and puzzles?

It was mad busy at work, cannot believe how many people want to shop on a miserablr wet day when they could be at home in the warm relaxing, I know I would, and for the next three days I will be!

ditto ummmm. I hate shopping at the best of times, but at this time of year I try and avoid shops and would rather cut my leg off with a rusty spoon that go anywhere near them.

I've been dipping in and out Dot, but I've been family treeing and providing food.

I locked the doors at 4.05 after the last straggler left and this old woman, must have been in her 80s, came banging on the door demanding a calendar! I told her we had closed the tills but she was really rude and aggressive and said we were stupid for closing early! (I had the most wicked thought that perhaps she might not need a calendar at all as she might drop dead of apoplexy lol )

Shopping = miserable faces, pushing and shoving, seeing poor little children dragged around with bottles stuffed in their mouths, racks of tat that the stores cant get rid of. Much rather be at home in front of the fire reading a good book/watching a film with my family around me.

I totally sympathise with you dotty.We get customers like that.Anyway enjoy your 3 days off.In answer to your post, yes puzzles has been busy today- all those supplements in the papers keeping everyone busy ...or is everyone sleeping off the effects of the xmas booze today?

Total mayhem in Birmingham city centre today, oh well at least i have bagged a few bargains so it was worth it. Cant beleive Tescos are now selling Easter Eggs LOL
