Wooden Floors

Has anyone laid a real wooden floor? My supplier tells me that I need to glue the boards onto my floortiles. However, they want to charge me �90 for each of two tubs of glue. Can I use some other manufacturers glue? Does Screwfix or someone similar sell an equally good, but appropriate glue for less doe?

Boathail where do you live? I work in manchester and we sell tubs of glue they are really large -but i can assure you we dont charge anyway near that price! google and get your own -then get someone to do the job for you- recommended if poss
