We have a 3 month old kitten who has been absolutely marvelous using the litter tray. Any suggestions please on the next step of getting her to do her business outside in the garden ?

when we had our cats, we used to put the litter tray closer to the back door and then gradually put the tray outside (while we were there) and leave the back door open. They soon got used to asking to go out.

You could try changing the current litter gradually to soil from the garden.

Or mixing some used litter into the soil in the garden.
