brandy snaps

hi, how can i stop brandy snaps sticking to the greaseproof paper???? have tried it both sides, oiling it, dry, any way i can, but still, they stick like s*** to a blanket! help please, happy new year, simon

Don't know about greaseproof paper, have you tried these silicon baking sheets which seem to claim to be equivalent but re-usable.

I have been using those silicone baking sheets and they were fine for a while and then after not too many uses they started to melt at the corners.

I always use baking parchment on top of a metal baking tray....'tis non-stick, the parchment, not the tray.
