my friend bought a car from motor nation,she paid cash and part ex her car totalling �7500 her boyfriend of 15years took out finance of �3000 towards it,she also went guarentor for him.He has defaulted and she found out through excufax she has a jugement against her as a result of him not paying as they split up shortly after she got the car and moved to a different part of the country.She was signed off work through anxiety and depression so has no real income only income support for herslelf and 9yr old daughter..would the finance company let her try to pay them as shes to scared to give them her new adress

Yes they will let her pay it off slowly, and since a judgement has been given, no more interest will be charged.

It may be possible to have the judgement set aside if she did not know about it, but since she is a guarantor, they would just issue new proceedings.
