My Dad's family were from Warrington and so out of curiosity I;ve just looked at Pete Postelthwaites family history and found that he has Hewitts from Warrington in his tree, I found an ancestry member who had Pete's great grandfather in her tree as a peripheral and so I've sent her a PM about it.
My Hewitts were more Daresbury actually. There are also Lawless and Lally in his line and I am sure I;ve seen Lawless some where.

Hi there dotty,
It was so sad about Pete Postlethwaite, and so unexpected.
It said he had a long illness,do you know what it was.
Apologies if it's common knowledge I haven't looked on Google news yet.

It was cancer, must have been a terrible time for his family. Only 64 too, no age at all.
I did wonder if it was something like that dotty,as he seemed to get thinner and more gaunt by the year.
I just put that down to getting older.
Thanks for the info though.
Jo.
