Friend moved a couple of months ago, changed driving license address but not car registration document (most people I know think the driving license change of address covers both). Her car from new did not have the whole of the V5. She has paid £25 to get new registration document just before xmas but has now (she believes) got caught speeding slightly over by average speed check camera.

The question is, how can she check she has been caught/pay fine in the meantime as the ticket will go to her previous address which she has no access to at all?

If the new address is added by DVLA will the subsequent reminder go to her current address?

Thanks.

What if it isn't received in time?(and with the DVLA /post office that wouldn't surprise me) Would the police know if she did definately receive a ticket and who she should contact to pay it?
