Mishaps over the festive period.

Slipped on a sausage on the dancefloor & called the BF's boss a Fat John Travolta (I may have mentioned that one...)
Broke the branch of a large decorative tree in a very exclusive Italian restaurant on Xmas Eve. Stood there like a lemon not knowing where to put it (hide it) as the waitress was far too young & polite to mention it....
Told the BF's sister I have always thought she considered me "not good enough" for her little brother, and not the sort of person she would wish him to end up with. We were both very very drunk. She told me I was completely wrong - that I was "bloody wonderful" (said in a very slurred posh Welsh accent and that I am "Just what the uptight little sod has always needed.....). We bonded on gin.
All in all, a good chrimbo. Apart from one piece of very sad news, in which this is not the thread to mention it.
How about yous lot?
