I used to walk loads a few years ago. I'd notch up around 12,000 or more steps. Just need to get back into. Since having an epidural my back plays up a bit and my legs seem to have stiffened slightly.
hi tigger,

i think if i was you id save me money, and just put my mind to eating less.
cut your carb intake, that will help loads.
and if youre cutting back on the choc and biscuits that will help too.

like everyones saying, with those tablets you have to be so careful of what you eat - ie your fat intake.
so if you have to be extra careful about your intake of food etc whilst on them, youre bound to drop a few pounds anyway.

so reduce your food portions, maybe even get yourself a small dinner plate to have your meals on. itll look more.
if you normally have 2 slices of bread, just have 1. if you normally have 5 new potatoes just have 3.
if you fancy a biscuit and cant resist, just have 1, instead of the usual 6 lol.

its little changes like those, that will in the long run be beneficial to you because youll still be eating the things you like and enjoy, just less of them, and you wont feel deprived of anything then.
plus, if you can introduce a little bit of exercise each day, just a few minutes worth, will all help in shifting those extra baby pounds.

<<<<<<< oh hark at her!! lol .... trying to sound like i know what im talking about!

good luck :o)

Lol Loooby!

I've eaten kind of healthily today and I got a Tesco delivery of low fat meals. I really am too knackered to cook meals at the moment with Lt Tiggs being quite demanding. I've used a website called Food Focus which I think Pastafreak introduced me to a couple of years ago. Its free too so I'll register under a different name (otherwise its a continuation of where I last left off) and go on from there. I need to up my veg and fruit intake as well. If I fill myself up on those then I can lower the bread, pots and pasta.

I'm also going to start walking again by going to the post office every day when selling my DVD collection on ebay! Lol
thats the spirit tigger!
now youre in the right frame of mind to actually do something positive, youll do it!! :o)
and when you say no and refuse that big chunk of chocolate cake youre offered and tempted by, youll feel sooooo chuffed with yourself.
like they say - 'a moment on the lips, a lifetime on the hips' .. and its right isnt it lol..
oh and we cant forget the 'little pickers wear bigger knickers' one either ;o)

(oooh dear, and we think weve got problems, are you watching channel 4 - brittains fattest man? ....)
Question Author
Yep, just switched over to watch it. Sorry but I find it disgusting to get into that state. Must be a strain on family members.
