I would happily meet up with quite a few i stay in contact with and perhaps a few more at a party/ dinner and dance event, perhaps with the Abba tribute band, Bjorn Again supplying the tunes and watching us all painfully moving various parts of our body about a bit. :)

Hi society (sounds like a musical)- that may or may not be true but it's not what I meant when I said:
"I have a mental image of buildersmate, mollykins and buenchico, for example, but I think that's because I'm picturing people I know who seem to have similar interests and personalities. "
I meant that these AB members remind me of people I know /have known so I picture them (perhaps wrongly) as looking like these people.

I've met a quite a few (albeit some who don't really come on here anymore) though after getting to know them better via FB. Some of them I've "known" from here for over 4 years now.

I've been to a couple of group meetups and met some people individually and there are some I text quite often. All very very lovely people. I am very careful about who I meet though.

Speaking of The Builder, it was me who took his profile picture haha!

I'm always intrigued by what people on here look like. I think I somehow get an impression of what people look like on here for no reason and the few friends I have on here on facebook are all different to how I imagined them to be.

I have met two regulars from Animal & Nature at dog shows, thugulike and jules, and have had presents from both of them - thugulike brought cake and jules gave me a ramp for the dogs to get into the van, so a very productive friendship in both cases. I'd like to meet Buenchico, who always has such good advice on travelling and other subjects. Not sure about a mass meet though, maybe someone could suggest a time and place and see who turned up? Red carnations anyone?

I tried organising a meet-up last year in Brum, and was left overwhelmed by the reponse. I think in total, a whole 4 people (myself included) were up for it.

I have met up with another memeber from here though.....lol
