Only a few more early evening sightings. Should be good again tonight . Last nights was superb.

The planet is Jupiter. With binoculars you may be able to spot the Galilean moons.

It's not red CAS, it's a clear yellow glowing light, not flashing.

Wasn't flashing boxtops. Took about 3. / 4 minutes to cross the sky

There isnt another uk sighting tonight the next one over the uk is 6 01 pm tomorrow but only a short 1 minute one.

i hate to miss it even though i've seen it many times now.
Him indoors says that if it was the flying scotsman he would be out there for hours for it to arrive, haha

We had a steam train come through Dover just before Christmas, pusskin, there were guys with cameras hanging over every railway bridge. I'd forgotten just how much SMOKE there was!

ha ha boxtops, we've been into steam railways for years. most of our lovely camping hols were some where near the railways. loved it. so much smoke --smells good lol
