Do you really want my comment? OK here goes. They are MONGRELS! They are merely two different breeds mated together and given a 'fancy' name. You will pay hundred of pounds for one and there will be no health checks done as there are no papers for them so you cannot get the health tests. Don't tell me there are no health problems, as both breeds have genetic problems and if they carry the gene then they can produce puppies with problems. If the size of the beagle comes out in the puppies, not only will the bitch have trouble producing the puppies but they may have problems with their breathing, as pugs are a bracephalic breed. If they take after the beagle, which is a hound bred to work and run all day, the body restrictions of the pug will mean a very frustrated dog that cannot physically do what its head it telling it it wants to do.
As for the link given, they are off the planet if they think that by keeping 'pedigrees' they will become a registered breed.
This takes generations to achieve, with test matings, not just mating two different breeds together. What will the next generation be, if you mate back to a pug they will be three quarter pugs, and vice versa, if you mate two 'puggles' together you will have a total mongrel.
There are almost 200 recognised breeds in this country, why breed mongrels and try to pass them off as a pure bred breed.
Sorry if I offend anyone, no, I take that back, I don't care if I offend anyone.
