washing machine

i have an idestit 1500 washing machine
that isn't emptying properly

i have pulled it out and had a look at the back

but dont really know what i'm doing

the outflow pipe looks ok etc

any ideas??

Something could be blocking the out-flow pipe, lost any socks lately?

There could be a blocked filter right at the bottom, behind the front plinth panel.

Yes .. Check outlets at bottom .. and if there is a filter on front lower panel to remove (this is usually directly attached to pump body)
Can you hear pump running on emptying?

yes i can hear the pump "trying to work!"

There must be something stuck in there .. your drawers, tights or a sock : ) You need to fish out. You should hear a smooth motor sound and maybe some sucking sound from outlet drain pipe.

I had this happen and the culprit was a colour catcher,did you put one of those in?I put them in a net bag now.

dont think we used a colour catcher

it defiantley drains a bit

but sounds like its trying to suck more water out

cant see anything stuck

but not too sure where to look??

also when you put it on spin

it spins round but cant seem to get up to full speed???

back to washing machine problem

it works fine on sports shoe mode

i.e it spins as it should etc etc

so i am thinking its more a fault with the programe

can it be reset??

p.s i tried unplugging it for 30 seconds
