Is there something wrong with the postal service?

I've been waiting for 2 editions of a magazine which I subscribe to. I contacted GreatMagazines, the distributors on Wednesday and was told that I should have received the first one on the 28th Dec. The second was should have been received tuesday this week. Now obviously due to Xmas and New Year holiday I would expect a some delays but this is ridiculous. My post usually arrives between 12 and 1 and I've had nothing today.

They're still catching up with the backlog. Commercial stuff (such as mags) may have been delayed getting to the sorting offices in the first place.

I've just had the 31st Dec - 7th Jan edition of Heat through my letter box. The one for 8th - 14th Jan arrived last week! I know they're in a lot of poop but things seem to be going backwards.

Oh well, thats my little moan for the day.

If we're lucky it will arrive tomorrow. Over the last couple of months it has been arriving later in the week.

Yep, got loads of reading to do before the next one so my Sudoku will have to take a back seat for now.
