i have been working in a dental practice for over 2 years as a receptionist and just had to complete a cbr check it's come back with theft handaling which was over 26 years ago. The primary health trust just wants the disclourser number but the practice manager wants to see the form can i jsut give the disclouser number or do i have to show form as i do not want the practice manager to see as we do not get on.
The only person who sees the whole of my CRB check is the person responsible for ensuring you have a CRB check in place. Anyone else only needs the disclosure number
So, if your practice manager is the person responsible for this then yes, she can see the whole form but, as far as i am aware, and going by what I have been informed by my manager, she cannot have a copy of it, she may only keep the disclosure number on your records
as far as i understand it, the PCT is responsible for ensuring there are dentists available for the public to go to,but it's down to the individual prtactice to employ staff. Thereforee i think the answer is yes, she can see it
