Hey so my IPod currently went off last night! Tryed putting it on the charger, pressing the on and off button and loads more. I have tryed lots of things and it still wont work!
Has anyone have this problem?

Is there anything I can to to try getting it back on?

is it fully charged?

if you have tried everything I suggest you phone apple and they will investigate it

Yeah! I know I should but I hate the thought of sending it to apple!

I know, but its better than it sitting in a drawer inactive, at least it will get sorted out

Yeah I know! The computer wont even recognise the IPod once you insert it!

have you tried holding down the centre button and the upper part of the circle together for 8 seconds?
(it might be the lower part of the circle - can't quite remember)

Leave it until the battery runs out. One of ours crashed the other day. As soon as it ran out of charge it started working as soon as it was plugged back in.

was it the top or the bottom?

I think it was the top! I just told someone else to do it for me! Just told them to hold the middle button in and the button at the top!

I had assumed you had "tried everything"

Everything! I went onto Apple support! Nothing! And they didn't even tell me to do what bednobs said! I couldn't believe it!

a reset would be one of the first port of calls if the ipod is unresponsive, I assumed you had tried this already. at least you know for next time ;)
