I'm going to Cambridge next Saturday for a look around with a friend(s), can anyone suggest what we can do in Cambridge that's not too expensive, we are mature 20 year olds
Otherwise the open-air market is well worth a look round. (Think quality, rather than economy though!).
If the weather is fine you might want to take the open-top bus tour. (They run every 40 minutes in the winter months). But at £13 per ticket they're not cheap!

It is worth paying for a guided tour. If you go to the Tourist office, they are not very expensive. Otherwise, go to your local library and take out a guide book. My personal favourite is the Kings college chapel. Enjoy!
Fitzwilliam Museum (free) and the Botanic Gardens (£4).
Then eat at Browns or afternoon tea at Fitzbillies.
However bear in mind that term starts next week so all the students will be going back on Saturday and Sunday so the place will be hectic and the car parks (even) fuller than usual.
