I won this crossword for the first time approx three Saturday's ago and I was wondering how long it takes them to send the cheque?

Did it give your full name and addresss as there may have been someone of the same name .Friend of mine "won " after a while asked but was given the answer that the prize had gone to some one but not at her address.

ring and ask, it takes me a week to get a cheque out - but that's from when promotions biother to tell me they need one!

thanks to all for getting back to me. I used a pre-printed address label which included my middle name initial, and yes the sum involved is £50.
I have just checked the the cutting from the paper and the closing date for the crossword I sent in was 31st December 2010..
As slinky kate waited nearly a month I will give it a bit longer.I have an arrangement with a friend, she buys the paper, does as much of the crossword as she can, I finish it off and post it, and we share any winnings. Val

i phoned them twice to chase them up,and they gave me silly excuses,if i had'nt seen my name in the paper i would'nt have known as they did'nt inform me
