I've just been reading joggerayne's thread about Cheryl Cole and someone made a comment about CC looking fab. I agree that she looks great but quite frankly could never be bothered with preening myself for an hour or more each day to achieve such an immaculate appearance.

I'm not a complete slob and do enjoy making an effort from time to time but the thought of doing my hair and make up and dressing in a perfectly considered stylish outfit everyday makes me shudder.

Which end of the scale are you slob or immaculately turned out?

My cousin did it Pinki. She was only young, so it was her Mother really, but after a few months it looked lovely. Really nice and glossy.

I admire your commitment Pinki! There's no point in me spending that long on my hair, after five minutes it goes from sleek and smoothish to a frizz ball.
I don't even shave Cazz, for me it's literally 20 mins a week, number two all over head and face, job done 'til next Thursday (always Thursday so it doesn't look to drastic for the weekend.) That's been my routine for 8 years now! The choice is no longer there though!

I have to be honest I wear make-up (a fair amount) every single day and also don't look much different whether at work or out in the evening. I don't fuss too much with my hair though, it's long but I like the wild look.
I've just had mine all chopped off. Now sitting with hair dye in....
I will be honest! I went down to my local supermarket yesterday, at 3pm (primary school kicking out time) and have to admit that many of the mum's I saw were strangers to the Revlon counter, (I was quite shocked) I mean come on girls a bit of lip gloss would be a step in the right direction! ;-)

It's just above my shoulders. Was half way down my back...

Nelly - why though? Who do you think they are trying to impress? I've never really worn make-up. Only for nights out. I wouldn't bother if we were just popping to the pub for a few.
i carnt say nothing really lol i spend for ever getting ready each day :-S i suppose everyone is different.. i mean i carnt leave the house without the make-up on hair perfect..dont get me wrong i love to chillout and slob about in the house
lol paul, you shave your face the same length as your hair, that is genius!
Personal Hygiene is important to me always. Cannot function properly without a good scrub everyday whether I go out or not. It would not be fair on my Partner if I reeked of BO !

It's so much easier. Wish I'd done it ages ago. How short will yours be when the extensions come out?
i'm contempalting chopping mine off but its been long for so long i don't know....
Ummm! If you saw me without the war paint, you may understand ;-)

Honestly, I think it doesn't matter whether you make effort or not! Although I always have a good pair of shades, a stylish coat and a scarf (just in case)

Christ! I sound like JOan collins ;-)
. . . just popping out for shoulder pads! . . . perhaps some botox while I'm out! OOooh and best get my tatoo touched (seeing as my star sign has changed overnight)
Always make up and dressed accoeding to what Im planning for the day. Wouldnt dream of going out in tracks, tees and slops with no make up. Not even to the store on Sunday. It reallly is no effort.
