Can't let this one go without some input from fellow ABers....

Just a minute or so ago, Bunny Campione, cracking a bull whip, said "Rodeo comes to Norfolk"

Now that must be worth some creative input at their expense, or the Americans....

It's Sunday night and time for some frivolity.

for the next few weeks - it probably takes four showings for the folk in Norfolk to work out that tonight's show is coming from Oxburgh Hall.....
why are you so obsessed with sl@gging off norfolk all the time? We have some very intelligent people in norfolk. It always seems to be you putting people who live in norfolk down. Just wondered what has happened in your life that makes you so bitter about norfolk?
I saw that DT, Bunny Campione wouldn't do that sort of stuff, it was Hilary Kay! (I do wonder when the experts pull a stunt like that with people's precious souvenirs - what happens if they damage it?)
Question Author
I lived there.

I also *** off the S-West too - and I live there and am half from down here. So most areas are fair game - I have gone for Brummies, Welsh and Scots as well......

I suggest having a sense of fun - or is life that miserable up there?
If they damaged it they'd have a whip round.
Question Author
they have done so - can't remember exactly but a vase worth some 8k went south - they are insured but that still doesnt replace any emotional damage.

You are right about Hiliary Kay.....
can i not ask a question? Was just wondering. If your life was that bad when you lived here then fair enough. But dont tar us all with same brush. I love oxbororough hall its a beautiful place.

as to breakages - max was 2300 and some 17 breaks costing 6k of licence money
Guess it's a risk you take if you remove any precious items from your home, for valuation anywhere. I like the AR but I also like some of the less serious programmes where you actually see the stuff going to auction.

Please spell Oxburgh Hall correctly, it doesn't help your argument to get the spelling so badly wrong.

I didn't say that it wasn't beautiful and none of my leg-pulling has been in that direction. If you check my record, I reserved that for a crack about my mother's home town, Camborne, and a town in the county that I consider home, Barrow-in-Furness, in Cumbria.
Question Author
Yes I do so too - the programme with the two experts going head to head is fun - just before the six o'clock news. I record that.

One of the tips that my ex had was if you go in with a very low offer and below your target range, write it on a business card or something - it gives the air of being serious. And then a "Do think about it, I will be home at, or am staying at......" They are often negotiating closer to your target range before you are out of the door..........
what argument. I asked a few questions. You are taking me wrong way. I thought id ask why rather than jump to conclusions. And so sorry for my mispell, am using phone.
Question Author
To which, 4getmenot, I believe most regions and issues are fair game....there are some I don't get involved in such as these baby jokes today. There was also a pretty bad Muslim joke on the joke topics today involving how far petrol went in burning them. That was OTT - but 'the regional joke' I feel is fine as they are so prevalent...and if you can tell them about your home area too.
Question Author
And I can understand your spelling issue if you using a phone - I hate texting, my fingers are far too fat!
I did see that post too and stayed away. Am now on laptop so much quicker.
Question Author
welcome back to the world of sane pc input!

Never been to Oxburgh Hall - it looks a great pile.

And for the Norfolk thing, a very close friend (unfortunately expired tragically) went to Gresham's at Holt - his old man was 2nd master there. By chance I was up for the Bursar's job there......
