I have bought a new computer and reinstalled my simple shop accounts program from the original disk. I now want to transfer the data (shop accounts from last April) stored in this program from my old computer to the new one but don't know how to do this. Do I have to retype all the information from the old computer entry by entry, or can I do all of it in one go, say, onto a memory stick? Any advice would be appreciated!

Yes .. just copy/store on pen, and paste the data onto new drive into the new data location, after installing program on new computer.
Get hold of a USB transfer cable which has a little program built into it and when you connect the two computers it will allow you to drag and drop your files from one to the other and into the right folders. I will work with all Windows OS and wiil even allow to to transfer to a MAC. Your local computer shop should be able to supply one .This is a safe ans sure way of doing it
