I am allergic to Shape products
5 Answers
I know it sounds odd but I cannot eat Shape products as I get a very bad attack of hives - great red itchy patches all over my body, not pleasant. I wrote to Shape to ask them what it could be that was causing it, but needless to say they have not answered. My sister is also allergic to it. I found out by eating Shape cottage cheese and she found out by eating their cream. As Shape won't tell me, I wondered if anyone else could make any suggestions (apart from don't eat Shape products, because of course I avoid them) It would be interesting to know what it is.

I don't think they're avoiding it, as it's impossible to answer without testing each ingredient on you separately.
What affects you, might not affect your Sis.
The list of ingredients is clear for their products on the Danone Shape website. All of which would cause an allergic reaction to people that were allergic to them (if you see what I mean?).

Thanks Naz. I do understand. I would have liked Shape to at least acknowledge my letter, because otherwise I think they are rude. Perhaps they thought I might sue them or something, but I can't be bothered with anything like that - too much hassle. I just wanted to know what might have caused it. With regard to my sister getting it as well I thought it might be familial in some way.
